Lansdowne-Moody provided ten Kubota tractors to be used in HLSR FFA Tractor Technician Contest.
Teams throughout the state compete on a local level to achieve ranking to make it to The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The contest is narrowed down to ten teams which compete in a three-part competition: components, written exam, and a team event consisting of three class members for each of the ten tractors. The teams are to locate and correct five deliberately placed malfunctions in diesel fueled tractors and safely drive the corrected tractor through a designated course with in a thirty minute time limit. Awards are given to highest scored students and the team event.
The continued support of everyone involved makes this an exceptional learning and team building experience for our future leaders!
