All Lansdowne-Moody Company locations have a long history of community involvement sponsorships, and this month there’s a new company-wide community involvement sponsorship. The Houston Chronicle recently mentioned Lansdowne-Moody Company as a sponsor of the “Clean Up Cleveland” event.
Community Involvement to Clean the City of Cleveland
The “Clean Up Cleveland” event was hosted on June 3, 2017, by the City of Cleveland. The event consisted of volunteer teams who trekked the entire City of Cleveland to dispose of all garbage found. Gloves and trash bags were provided, as well as lunch and potential door prizes in exchange for the volunteers’ hard work.
Residents Are Thankful For the Difference Made
Volunteers met at 9:00 a.m. at the Stancil Expo Center and spent the day trekking the city and picking up all trash found out in the open as well as in ditches and other harder-to-reach spots. The volunteers then returned to the Stancil Expo Center once the entire City of Cleveland was visibly free of trash. Residents are thankful and notice a big difference following this community effort.
“We want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts… Driving around town after the event it looks a lot better,” said Frieda Joyce of the Cleveland Civic Center.
